Use of CoX player characters and NPCs in Stories & Forum RP

If using an existing CoX character in a Story or Forum RP, please ensure that you have the permission of the player before doing so.

The unauthorised and/or inappropriate use of other players' characters is prohibited on this forum, and may result in a temporary or permanent ban for persistent offenders.

If you wish to make use of an existing character which is controlled by another player, then please get WRITTEN permission from the players before using that character. Also, please offer that player the opportunity to review/edit the story once it is written for accurate portrayal of their character. This includes both Militia and non-Militia characters, whether detailing the actual character or a simulation of the same (clones, holograms, evil robot doubles, etc).

In the cases where complaints of the mis-use of another player's character/s are received by the Administrators, then the writer must be able to prove permission was given upon demand.

I'm sure you can all appreciate how much time, energy and emotion we all invest in our characters, so this is to make sure our characters (and the players behind them) are not abused or mis-represented.
